Filming for Counting With Mickey: Amazing Ambuyat was done on 14 April 2008 in Kg Ukong, Tutong. It was produced by Loco Motion Pte Ltd from Singapore. One cameraman and a line producer from Regalblue Production were involved in the production.

Prior to the that, a one-day audition was organised by Regalblue Production, in search for 3 very young talents. Hans, Abadi & Batrisyia were chosen based on their performance in the audition.

The filming was basically based on how Brunei’s very unique delicacy, Ambuyat is made. From choosing the rumbia tree to packing the Ambulong to be sold and then made into Ambuyat. Everything went well, with the kind & generous assistance & co-operation from the Ambulong factory manager, Mr Yong Ming Leong with his family & staffs, as well as from the talents’ parents.
